So, the plot: Form a band, but make comics instead of music.

Instead of ‘rehearsals’ we take a practice session to the pub and jam out descriptions, sketches and still images. Instead of ‘gigs’ we gear up for comic-conventions and small press shows. We treat ‘zines and small-press comics as albums, doing things the DIY way. Finally, we run this site much like a band site, i.e. stuff about us and news about mutual projects and releases but leaving ACTUAL blogging to our own sites. It doesn’t take priority over solo projects: in an ideal world it just becomes a different way of playing our ‘instruments’.

And, if it really works, then we can see how other people play.
