While you all enjoy your non-denominational holiday messages this year do spare a thought for We Are Words + Pictures.

Rumour has it that Julia will be re-enacting Cold War era espionage dramas in snowy Berlin, sleeping rough and stealing pennies from fountains to pay for her art habit, while Matt claims to be swimming the Atlantic for kicks. Whether these whispers have any truth contained in them or not, it is likely that the We Are Words + Pictures support team and field agents will enjoy a few weeks without their cruel founders hounding them into New Year, demands for parcel tape and miniature display easels ringing in the wind.
What is certain is that the team will be back together on January 12th for another night of Josie Long‘s The Lost Treasures of The Black Heart. Join WAW+P in Camden from 8pm for another night dedicated to unsung heroes and superb stand-up. There’s a lot more to announce for 2010, so stay tuned.
Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year! See you on the other side.

This is going to be an art installation that combines sculptural elements, performance, audio, video, photo documentation, and illustrated portraits of Las Vegas sex workers. The purpose of this show is to investigate the connections between the Las Vegas economy & the legal & illegal sex work that happens there. [...]
