Fresh from manning his first stall at the intimidatingly-huge MCM Expo, Edward Ross stopped by London Fields Radio to guest on the latest episode of WAW+P Radio. Michael Leader hosts, and the pair chat about their experiences at the cosplay-heavy con, as well as discussing Edward’s approach to the do-it-yourself aspects of small press publishing.
Edward chooses a number of tunes that reflect his comics career so far, from first spying the artwork of Seth and Adrian Tomine in the liner notes of Eels’ Electro-Shock Blues, to the morbid folk tune ‘The Derby Ram’, which he has adapted for the forthcoming third volume of the Solipsistic Pop anthology.
All this, and a handful of recommendations, scoops and event plugs from the world of words and pictures.
