Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the third edition of Paper Science is here. Modelled below by David Singleton, you will find inside sixteen pages of wonder, excitement and comics, all for our usual super-cheap price.
It’ll be making its debut at this weekend’s Thought Bubble festival, at which most of the contributors will be attending. Who might they be you ask? Let’s do the roll call.
Paper Science 3 features comics from Abigail Nottingham, Ben Hinshaw, Daniel Merlin Goodbrey, David O’Connell, Francesca Cassavetti, Hugh Raine, John Cei Douglas, Julia Scheele, Kristyna Baczynski, Laura Norris, Lizz Lunney, Louise Love, Mark Sarmel, Philippa Rice, Sarah Gordon, Thorsten Sideb0ard, Timothy Winchester and Tom Smith.
The cover is by the distinguished Geof Banyard, featuring an epic tea machine (wo-)manned by an array of strumpets.
A WARNING: This edition features some adult content. You purchase it in the full knowledge it is there.
In the coming days we’ll be announcing a list of stores you’ll be able to pick the issue up from. £1 is what we’re selling it for at shows, so it’s likely to be a few pennies more in shops but not much: it’ll cost about the same as what Paper Science + Postage costs when you order from the store.
(To be honest, given a choice between buying from one of the stores and buying from us I’d rather you support your local shop)
If stockists want a few copies then just drop us an e-mail: wearewordsandpictures [at] gmail [dot] com
We’ll be releasing a PDF version in the near future too, but the newspaper really is where it’s at.
Thanks again for everyone’s support. Hope you enjoy reading the latest issue.
