That was Interesting

Yesterday myself, Anne Holiday and Marc Ellerby had the pleasure of attending Interesting, the sort-of-annual sort-of-conference at Conway Hall. Filled with notebook making, food science, robot musicians and abstract architecture it proved to be one of the most eclectic and entertaining days I’ve seen in a long time.

We were there to make a Chloe Noonan comic; a sixty panel beauty based on a story from the third issue (available here and in comic shops of good repute).

I have to admit to feeling a bit terrified about the whole process. In a day filled with things to do the thought of getting 60 panels – which ranged from A6 to A3 in size – finished by the end of the day felt ambitious, at best. But the Interesting attendees managed it, and did a truly fabulous job!

We’re going to try and photograph the eleven pages and add lots of panel credits soon, but until then Marc’s photographed the comic and you can find the pictures over on his blog and on Flickr.

Huge thanks to Marc and Anne for a great job on the day, to Russell Davies for inviting us along, and a big Well Done You to everyone who completed a panel or two for the comic. You’re all winners.
