I’m delighted to say that Paper Science 5 is back from the printers, and it’s looking splendid. Pre-orders and subscription copies will go out today, with retailer issues being sent out towards the end of the month.
(I’m syncing up the latter with Wednesday comics day on July 27th, so regular comic buyers can pick them up regular purchases.)
You can still order it, and pick up other issues, over at WAW+P’s online shop.
The issue’s live debut will be at New Cross Turn Left, a one-day show being organised by Ellen Lindner, Howard Hardiman, Nevs Coleman and WAW+P co-founder Julia Scheele.
New Cross Turn Left: A Comics and Art Garden Party, to be held at the Old Police Station on Sunday, 24th July, from 1-11PM (114-116 Amersham Vale, Deptford, SE14 6LG).
The event is named for the most basic directions to the OPS – go to New Cross station, turn left on exiting, walk a bit, you’re there!

Mike Leader will be taking over one of the cells at the police station, interviewing creators for WAW+P radio. Come and join us for tea, cake and comics – it’ll be lovely.
