She’s not only a a formidable comic artist, Philippa Rice is a WAW+P favourite too. The creator of popular collage webcomic My Cardboard Life, Philippa opted for something a little different for Paper Science 5.
I wanted to try a new technique for this comic, so I did a few experiments with drawing and collage.
What I went for in the end was drawing everything first, scanning it, then cutting round all the drawings in different coloured cards and papers.
The last thing to do was put everything together on Photoshop with some added embellishments.
